About

I’m Désiré-Lévi Kouablan, a Staff Software Engineer and technical lead, originally from Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. I’ve spent more than 12 years designing and building backend systems, engineering platforms and cloud infrastructure automation for banking, insurance, utilities and government.

My core stack is Java and Spring Boot. Most of my work has been in event-driven systems, messaging, CI/CD and observability, often as self-service platforms that other engineers build on.

I’ve built engineering teams and departments from the ground up while staying hands-on in the code. Most recently, I took a stalled national government program to production in eight months with a team of five.

I’m a Canadian permanent resident and work in both French and English.
